Mariusz project managed and completed works on our house over a 3 week period. It was a major overhaul which included a new kitchen being fitted, new flooring throughout the ground floor, plastering, removal of walls and new doors and frames.
We were incredibly impressed with how Mariusz worked, from the very first visit to look at the property and start quoting, to the numerous changes we made though out the process even once work commenced, he was always contactable, always ready to offer sensible suggestions that worked every time.
Once the work began he sourced all the relevant trades people so we didn’t have to worry at all, this included specialist work top fitters for the kitchen tops, excellent plasters and he worked with some great guys when removing the wall and adding the steel.
I would highly recommend Natural Timber Design and Mariusz for the professional work and quality of finish. All work was completed on time so we could move back in as a family.
I would not hesitate to use him again and will certainly be contacting him again to do our decking ready for next summer.

Mario recently fitted engineered oak flooring in our Hallway, Living Room and Dining Room – overall approximately 50 sqm.
His initial survey and quote were thorough and realistic. Although originally planning a 2 week installation with 2 fitters, it turned out that he had to work on his own but still completed the work on time and to a very high standard. He was a pleasure to have in the house and discussed ideas and potential issues freely and constructively. He is very conscientious and takes great pride in his work. We are very happy with our new floor.

We recently moved into our new home and had a serious deadline – we were hosting my family for Christmas and we needed a new wood floor as the previous carpet had been ruined (by our own dogs). Mariusz did a great job laying floors in our living room and corridor (engineered wood).
It turned out that the job was more complicated than we anticipated due to previous owners’ neglect. Mariusz explained everything and kept us informed every step of the way about what he is doing and why. He provided us with different options with different quotes and we decided to go for the option where he glues the wood to the base. It was more expensive but worth it.
It has been two months since the floor was laid and we are very happy with it. The floor feels solid with no squeaky sounds and looks beautiful.

We contracted Mario to replace two rotten casement windows in our kitchen / conservatory.
This he did with great efficiency and attention to detail, and at a very fair price. Additionally, he also repaired damage to two further sills, and gave sensible advice about a future incipient problem.
What impressed me most was over and above our contract – he noticed, traced and fixed a leak into the kitchen from a conservatory roof panel.
They were punctual, respectful and considerate of us and our home, leaving it spic and span on a daily basis.

Mario replaced a sloping and broken old Victorian floor with a brand new fully levelled floor. He even managed to fix the level of the fireplace as part of the job. Very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend.

Mario and Natural Timber Design have just replaced all the rotten decking at the back of my house. The job they have done is nothing short of perfect: it has entirely changed the look of the place. No stone was left unturned in making sure the job was done well making it so easy. They were reliable, tidy, fine craftspeople with a great knowledge of the material. I’m particularly pleased at the way everything was cleared away. You would have no idea they had been there, except for the stunning decking. Natural Timber Design did an excellent job replacing my extremely old wooden floor with a new one.
They were fast and efficient, on time and helpful in every way and the finished result is just what I was looking for.

Mario did a fantastic job repairing the cedar decking in the garden that had rotted in one corner, and I strongly recommend him.
And he was not only a skilled worker in wood, but was courteous, kept us informed of progress and was always on time. He arrived at exactly the time he said he would for the initial consultation, for a second meeting and having agreed the start time he followed the schedule exactly. Also, he managed to salvage a couple of planks to replace those that were in the part which was largely still sound, meaning that visually the decking as a whole looked pleasing.

When we first met Mario we were impressed by his knowledge and enthusiasm, and he went into detail about what we could expect from the project, including a worst case scenario in case the sub floor was in a poor condition.
Everything was explained in detail and followed up by email with clear costings. He then dropped off wood samples on more than one occasion to make sure we could choose exactly what colour, size and finish we wanted for our new floor.
When Mario and his team came to do the work, they worked extremely hard, and with great skill and expertise.
The team installed our new floor with as little disruption to us as possible, and to a tight timescale. We are very happy with our new floor, which has made a huge difference to the look and feel of our living area.

Earlier this year, Mariusz and team did the wood floors on our ground floor.
Initially he came over to talk aobut the job, timing and various options for finish.
They are very professional and definitely experienced.
The work was done whilst we were on leave for a week and they managed to get it all done including replacing some joists that were rotten.
They must have worked very hard to get it all done.
The house was immaculate when we got back.
I am very happy for the work they did and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future work.

Mariusz installed a new wooden floor in my house one year ago.
He removed the previous flooring, fixed all the beams and installed new engineered oak wood in the kitchen and living room. Mariusz has such a high level of professionalism and perfectionism.
He did a beautiful job. I could not recommend him enough.
He also oiled the floor.
And recently, he came back to do a second coat of oil, and the wooden floor still looks like new.
Mariusz is honest, hard working, punctual and does a beautiful.

Mario replaced my garden fence beautifully. His work is detailed and meticulous, he communicates clearly, and foresees issues that might arise so that they can be factored in to the decision before going ahead. The work was completed beautifully and everything left super tidy.
